I put in 3 seeds of each squash from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds
And
all three of the sweet potato and the white marrow squash are coming
up. I put in a heirloom variety zuccuni squash from the 99 cent store,
but it's not coming up yet. lol. I realize it probably will not. I have
the pumkin on the other side of the house from the squash because I read
they can cross pollinate, I probably should put my sweet potato one
somewhere else too, but I'll save a couple seeds for next year of the
ones I bought this year so I know they are true and try again next year,
far apart.
The squash in the middle is a spaghetti squash. Thought I would try this since I have been getting so many tomatoes.
Not sure the kind of tomato this one is, it's a volunteer, probably the tiny chilli tomatoes, but it's the one I chose for pruning experience.
volunteer cherry tomatoes, these are so pretty and tasty.
ribbed tomato, love it.
It's called Big Max so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Here are some other pictures from my garden. It's looking pretty.
Watermelon is growing fast
Carrie corn, Golden Bantam
Cucumber, the first ones are pretty much ready and little ones are starting again.
Mexican Heather start from my one big plant.
avocado
Surprise Lily, didn't know they bloomed in July.
mini rose
Not sure what this is called, anyone got a name for it?
